How to Average Home Blood Pressure Over 7 Days
Short answer. Take two readings each morning and evening for seven days, drop day 1, and average the rest — at least 12 readings. Mercu applies exactly this rule automatically and shows the final 7-day home average once enough readings are in.

- Start a measuring weekMercu starts your week the morning after setup; restart it any time in Settings › Start a new week today.
- Fill the gridThe Week screen shows 7 days × morning and evening. Each dot fills as you add up to two readings per sitting.
- Read the averageFrom day 2, readings count toward the average. With 12 or more counted readings the average is final and ready for your report.
